Chocolatey Whole Grain Cinnamon Toast Treats
Prep Time: 20 Minutes Ready In: 1 Hour Servings: 20 to 22 bites

| 6 | slices | Roman Meal bread, toasted dark golden brown | | ¼ | cup | Unsalted butter | | 3 | tbsp | Sugar | | ¾ | tsp | Ground cinnamon | | 1 | cup 6oz | Semisweet or dark chocolate morsels |
| Directions: |
| 1. | Line baking sheet with wax paper. | | 2. | Crumble toast into food processor; process until mixture resembles coarse meal. Remove one tablespoon toast crumbs from food processor; set aside. Add sugar, butter and cinnamon into food processor; process until mixture begins to hold together. | | 3. | Scoop one tablespoon toast crumb mixture; form into 1-inch balls. Place on prepared baking sheet. Freeze for 30 minutes. | | 4. | Microwave morsels in small, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on high (100%) power for 1 minute. Some morsels may remain their original shape; stir. If needed, microwave at additional 10 to 15 second intervals, stirring just until morsels are melted. | | 5. | Dip balls completely into melted morsels with fork. Use side of bowl or shake gently to remove excess chocolate; sprinkle with reserved toast crumbs. Return to baking sheet; refrigerate for 20 minutes or until set. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator. |
